You might remember in a previous blog I had picked up a set of shelves that I was going to paint and put up in my workroom. Today was the day I had set aside for them and I set too this morning with sandpaper and cloth rubbing them down. It was such a nice day I decided to work in the garden.
Once sanded down I set too painting them, please don’t look too closely as it is not a brilliant paint job but none the less I think they look better painted than they did wood.
Finally painted I stood over hubby until he got out his spirit level and put them up for me. Now I must try and not overfill them although hubby thinks that they won’t stay looking so neat for too long and I hate to say it but he is probably right.
The shelves look lovely Deb, I am sure they will soon be crammed with bits and pieces though !

they look just gorgeous to me and I wish I had them here- just what I could do with- except they'd be even MORE crammed full of bits'n'bobs!

They look great !
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so satisfying giving a piece of old brown firewood a new lease of life with just a coat of paint and some elbow grease? You go ahead and cram it with whatever you like ... you deserve it! Looks fab x
ReplyDeleteThey look great Deb! I love over filling shelves!
